Perth Based Jet Charter Company First in Australia with Highest Level International Safety Accreditation available.
Revesco Aviation receives International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO). PERTH – MARCH 2010 – Revesco Aviation has received the first International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations in Australia.
The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) introduced the IS-BAO program as a code of best practice at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibit in 2002. It was developed by the industry, for the industry, using contributions from companies in four continents. At the core of IS-BAO is the operator’s Safety Management System (SMS), which requires that flight departments implement an SMS program.
Revesco, a Perth based company, was established in 2006 to service the needs of the corporate fly in-fly out community, and operates two luxury private jets. According to CEO Gary Gaunt, the IS-BAO accreditation is testament to the level of safety and service that the team provides. “Revesco Air is committed to providing the highest possible level of duty of care to their clients with their Challenger and Citation aircraft,” said Gary “Contrary to common belief, the civil aviation world is a newcomer to the concept and the IS-BAO has drawn heavily on the trail blazing industries that came before them.” “Fundamental to this policy Revesco uses only airline transport category certified aircraft operated to internationally accepted standards for the aviation services offered to their charter, mining, and oil and gas industry clients.”
Companies with active aviation policies regarding the carriage of board members and executives can now charter transport category aircraft operated to the highest possible international standard. “Having Citation aircraft available that can operate this standard into unsealed strips is unprecedented. Companies can now take their boards and executives direct to site,” said Gary This supports a recommendation by the WA State Coroner that all employees required to fly to a worksite should be transported only in airline transport category certified aircraft. Revesco strives to raise the bar higher than the rigorous airline standard CASA regulatory requirements they currently hold for charter aircraft operations by submitting to, and successfully completing, the internationally recognised IS-BAO accreditation process which is equivalent to the airline IOSA standard, the same as used by Qantas, Virgin Blue and most regional operators. “Our charter clients now have available to them a seamless airline transport category safety net from their airline connection to their ultimate charter destination however remote.” “To date this has not always been possible,” added Gary
